About the Hall of Fame

  • Established: 2018

  • Purpose: To honor excellence, preserve our evolving history, and recognize leaders who have shaped MAIN’s growth.

  • Frequency: Inductees are selected every two years (even-numbered seasons).

  • Rick Fitzke Grey
  • Chris Huber Grey
  • Virginia Kraft
  • Charlie Weir (posthumously)

No inductees were selected due to the global pandemic and season cancellation.

2024 INDUCTEE

Selection Criteria

Individuals may be considered for induction as:

 

  • Past or present unit directors, designers, staff, or administrators

  • Adjudicators or adjudication leadership

  • Dedicated volunteers who have made lasting contributions

Selection Process

 

  1. Nomination

    • Any active member of MAIN (unit director, performer, adjudicator, or volunteer) may submit a nomination.

    • Nominations must meet the criteria determined by previous inductees.

  2. Committee Voting

    • The Hall of Fame Committee is composed of current Hall of Fame members and the MAIN Executive Board.

    • Members with dual roles may only vote once.

    • Ballots are ranked, and inductees are chosen based on lowest total scores.

  3. Election Guidelines

    • Up to two inductees are selected every two years.

    • In case of a tie, more than two may be inducted.

    • The committee reserves the right to induct fewer than two individuals.

  4. Confidentiality

    • Nominee names, non-elected candidates, and individual votes remain confidential.

  5. Recognition

    • Inductees are honored at the MAIN Championships, with a separate celebration scheduled by the Hall of Fame Committee.

The MAIN Hall of Fame exists to honor those whose contributions have left a long-lasting impression on our organization. Their dedication, passion, and leadership continue to inspire current and future generations of performers, educators, and volunteers.
